A luxury fine art print card titled “30th September 1916” from an original watercolour painting by artist Archer L Smith.
A scene of the WW1 trenches in Northern France the time of the battle of the Somme.
These greetings cards are digitally printed on to a silky smooth white board (FSC rated card stock). In addition, the subtle sheen on these cards enhances the printed image of the original painting. Furthermore, they are left blank for special messages and supplied with a white envelope and protected in a clear film sleeve.

Born in late Victorian England, Archer had a career as a commercial artist in the Edwardian era. He fought and was badly wounded in the first world war, but survived and was married in 1922. Throughout his life he painted subjects he admired, his family and of the places he had travelled to.
